When you press a key, the hammer moves and is detected by three individual sensors. Rapid keystrokes and small movements are detected in high detail to be fully expressed by the powerful digital sound engine. This is especially useful for fast playing, repeated notes, and rapid trills—because the piano senses each keystroke with much greater accuracy and detail than a typical two-sensor system.
