Play piano with greater expression and control. Just like an acoustic piano, the lower keys of the SDP-3 have greater resistance, while the higher keys are lighter. It is an ideal portable piano for advancing musicians or students, and makes it easier to transition to an acoustic piano. For even greater expression, the SDP-3 also features a sustain pedal, allowing you to play a wide range of repertoire.

Voices, Controls and Effects
Every note you play sounds dynamic and expressive. Thanks to the detailed, sample-based piano sound, the timbre changes as you play harder, just like an acoustic piano. With 16 high-quality voices, the SDP-3 is versatile enough to meet all your playing needs. Use the buttons and scroll wheel to easily select between pianos, organs, strings, guitars and more.

The SDP-3 also comes with adjustable reverb, chorus and EQ effects – ideal for the stage or studio. Easily tailor your sound to your exact specifications. In addition, the piano has options to transpose, layer two sounds and split the keyboard into two separate voices. There’s even a handy twin mode that splits the keyboard in two, so students and teachers can play together at the same pitch. All of this is easily controlled via the LCD screen.

SDP-3 Inputs and Outputs
Play directly through a PA or amplifier using the stereo RCA line-out. You can also play quietly with headphones, so you can practice without disturbing anyone. There’s also a 3.5mm mini-jack input, so you can jam along to your favourite music.

The SDP-3 transforms into a versatile MIDI controller keyboard. Use the MIDI output to play sound modules, synthesizers, and virtual instruments for limitless sonic possibilities. You can also use it with music software on your Mac or PC. The USB-to-host connection sends MIDI and audio signals, for high-quality recordings of your compositions and performances.

Sleek and elegant design
At just 13.5 kg, the SDP-3 is easy to carry to and from gigs. It’s also packed with features that come in handy on stage. Subtle blue lights illuminate the keys and LCD screen, so you can see them clearly even in the dark. The piano can even be powered by six D batteries, so you can play from a distance.
